Back in 1770 the first guest house was opened up in Chamonix France. Before this date Chamonix Mont Blanc France was a uncivilized and rugged agricultural place where people hunted their animals and farmed their own cereals.
Barns then were used to raise cows over the spring and summer. The milk was conserved by turning it into cheeses and preserved down in the valley for consumption during the bleak winters. Throughout the snow season the chalets were barred, and all valued possessions were secured in a small mazot.
The person who came up with the chalet holiday is unknown, it was in all probability several passionate people who realised a pattern that worked. For Erna Low it started when she was a nostalgic student who could not see her folks in Austria as much as she liked. And so in 1930 she took a gamble and placed a ad in the Times to invite guests on a winter vacation. For only £15 they traveled to and from resort, had dinner and accommodation in the sole hotel, and took ski gear and instruction. Skiing was difficult , there weren’t any chair lifts, no safety bindings, merely leather boots, but it was such a hit that Erna kept on taking skiers on breaks, ensuring she sourced grand lodges and skiing instructors.
These Skiing trips during the formative years were very different from the standards we can get today. In the early days hot water was in short supply, bathrooms would be used by all of the clients, and there was no a chef; all the punters had to help out. No one knew who might be in the accommodation for the week, one could be agreeably surprised to meet new allies, or grimace at the thought of having to spend any more time with them.
skiing holidays were later advertised on their extra bonuses. A chalet chef, who would serve you continental breakfast and dinner and made you a cake, ensuites warm water for bathing.

Quiz School is a handy online tool that lets you create your own personality quiz. If you wonder how to do that, my advice is to register and just try it - no manual needed, the process is easy and fun.
The question that might occur to you there is why you would need to do that. Where personality quizzes can be used? Let’s have a look at just a few possible uses:
Learn more about your site visitors
Do you have a website? No? Come one! Everyone does. On a serious note, even if you don’t have a website of your own, you are most likely to have at least a couple of social media profile pages (like Myspace, Facebook, etc). So go ahead and share your quiz with your site isitors or social media friends.
You can embed your quiz if you have access to the page source code. Or you can just share the link to the quiz by email or instant messages. All statistics will be available at Proprofs.com right below the quiz.
Entertain your friends or website visitors
Quizzes are fun to take, especially if you took time, effort and imagination to create a humorous one. I am sure, your friends or website audience will have a great time and appreciate that.
Estimate job applicant’s aspects of personality
Quizzes has long been an effective way to learn more about a person you are going to hire or work with. Of course, in this case you will need to put serious thought and research into creating your quiz.

Time is our greatest and most precious asset. Time is the great equalizer of all us human beings. Why then do we not recognize and treat it with the respect it deserves?
Whether you are rich, poor, healthy, ill, or just humming along in your life somewhere in between, we all have only 24 hours in each and every day to invest wisely. We often spend a great deal of time and energy thinking and worrying about, or working to earn and pursuing more money. However, while we are doing that, sometimes we are missing the greatest gift of all - our time to experience our lives. A wise teacher once said to me, “You can always get more money but you can never buy more time.” Good point!
How often do we consciously think about how we invest our time? I consciously use the word invest because the way we choose to spend out time is truly an investment in ourselves and our lives.
Based on my observations over the last several decades on this planet, however, you would never guess the true value of this time commodity by the way people act and speak.
First, let’s look at the common ways people dishonor time with their actions. Do any of these choices look familiar?
- Spending hours in front of the TV.
- Sacrificing a healthy amount of regular sleep in an attempt to steal more time. (You may be awake for more hours, however being in a fog and loaded up on caffeine does not translate into quality or “more time”.)
- Working ineffectively and/or spending so much time at a job that you have in effect handed over your life to someone else.
- Existing in a state of stressed out or burned out.
- Spending hours aimlessly surfing the internet.
- Participating in gossip or the rumor mill.
Now, let’s take a look at the language we use when we discuss our precious friend, time. Do any of these comments look familiar?
- I wish it were Friday already! (usually spoken from a Monday through Thursday point of view)
- I’m just wasting time; or, this is a waste of time.
- I have some time to kill
- I’ll get to enjoy my time when I retire.
- I’m just counting the hours until the end of the day, or the days until the weekend, retirement, etc.
So, how often do you wish away your life? How often do you let time simply pass you buy?
While it may sound clich©, the phrase Carpe Diem has a great deal of merit. It means, seize the day. I can still remember my first real experience with this term when Robin Williams challenged his young students in the movie Dead Poet’s Society to do just that - seize the day. He used it as a call to arms where every student in his class should make each day a day that was truly explored and lived fully.
WHERE DOES MY TIME GO?
A Challenge for You
Do you know where all your time goes each day? What parts of your life are most important to you? Are those the parts of your life that receive the greatest amount of your time and attention? Or, do you find yourself doing the same things today that you did yesterday simply because that is what you did the day before that?
For the next month, take stock of where your time and your life go. At the end of each day, write down the number of hours spent in each of the main areas of your life. An example of what those main categories might look like could be:
Areas of My Life
Physical Health & Well-Being
Primary Relationship, Spouse, Significant Other
Friends, Family, Children, Relationships
Career/Work
Finances and Money
Physical Surroundings (home, work, etc.)
Spirituality (connecting with a power greater than yourself)
Fun and Relaxation
Making a Difference in your Community and the World
After the month passes, total up the hours spent in each category and reflect back on how you spent your time. Did “reality” surprise you? Or, was it what you expected? How does the way you invest your time on a daily basis make you feel? Is it in alignment with your values and what you really want from your life?
Take some time to take stock in how you invest your most precious asset - time. Remember, tomorrow is promised to no one. Carpe Diem.

Georgia Car Insurance Policy Policies
Georgia car insurance regulations maintain that all drivers in the state carry liability policies on their vehicles. As a driver in GA, you are required by law to have $25,000 per individual bodily injury coverage, $50,000 per accident bodily injury coverage for two or more individuals, and $25,000 per accident for damage to property. This type of insurance coverage is also known as 25/50/25.
GA runs under Tort law, this means that unlike a No Fault state, one of the drivers must be found at fault in any given automobile accident. Obligation for paying monetary damages lies in the hands of the person found at fault as well as their car insurance company. In Georgia, drivers are not mandated to incremental coverage such as personal injury protection (PIP) or uninsured or underinsured car insurance coverage. These policies, while not obligatory, are not a bad option to add onto your car insurance. Many Georgians invest in these optional car insurance products to assure sufficient coverage in the event of a collision. These rules were created to protect people and their vehicles on the Georgia roadways. To guarantee compliance with these laws, car insurers are required to share information about your policy with the State of Georgia Dept. of Revenue by way of a statewide database. At the same time, it is advocated to keep proof of your car insurance coverage with you every time you are in the car. Without your insurance card, if you are stopped by a police officer or involved in an accident, you could be fined $200 or even have your license suspended.
Being a no-fault state, all car accidents in GA must have somebody determined to be accountable to be at fault and their car insurance underwriter is also liable for damages.
Personal Injury Protection - This type of additional coverage covers incremental medical damages and other expenses that are not covered under a standard policy.
Uninsured/underinsured coverage is another nonobligatory extension that can be appended to your car insurance coverage. This insurance coverage protects you in the outcome that the driver involved is not insured at the time of the accident.
GA insurance underwriters are mandated by law to input the details of your insurance coverage into a statewide database. This database is sustained by the Georgia Dept. of Revenue. To protect yourself in the event you are in a automobile accident or are stopped by a police officer, you should always pack proof of your insurance card with you whenever you drive. Failure to due so can result in fines of $200 or having your license suspended

Unsolicited Commercial Email or Spam has grown at epidemic proportions. It is rapidly becoming the number one problem that Information Technology departments deal with on a day-to-day basis, surpassing computer viruses. The volume and percentage of unwanted email received in business and personal email inboxes is starting to overwhelm and drown out legitimate email.
Although the vast majority of this bulk email is being perpetrated by individual spammers and a few large bulk mailers pushing pornography, gambling, get rich schemes, ‘medicinal cures’ and bootleg software, real businesses have been caught in the web also by committing several errors. The three ways a legitimate business falls into the Spam mode are: 1. Legal non-Compliance, 2. Violating Trust, and 3. Lack of Value.
Legal non-Compliance
Through the end of 2003 it was very difficult to comply with Spam laws as twenty six states had passed their own laws dealing either directly with the process of sending unsolicited commercial email or the format requirements of bulk email. With the passage of the Federal law - “Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003″ or better known as the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, it has become a lot easier to understand and apply the rules. Real businesses should have no problem complying with all aspects of the law and those that don’t will find themselves in legal jeopardy for significant penalties.
The process components of the law won’t be an issue for real businesses, they don’t fake the reply address, they don’t hijack someone else’s mail server nor do they contain falsified routing information. Where they are likely to fail are in three specific areas.
1) Neglecting to include a valid physical address in the body of the email.
2) Not having a functional Internet-based opt-out mechanism, which must be active for a minimum of 30 days after the email has been sent.
3) Failing to include clear and conspicuous identification that the message is an advertisement or solicitation. Most State laws approached this similar provision by requiring the use of the letters ADV: in the beginning of the subject line. The Federal doesn’t specify how this is to be accomplished; thereby, leaving it open to a wide range of interpretation.
There are several additional areas that are process related that may trip up the sender unintentionally.
1) The sender rents or purchasing a defective email list, for example one that has individuals that have already opted-out of email communications.
2) They use a ‘tricky’ subject line to entice recipients to open the message. Subject lines that stretch the truth could be identified as misleading the purpose of the email and therefore be a violation.
3) Agents or related 3rd parties that have business relationship with the firm send out Spam. This could put the company in jeopardy if it can be proven that they were aware of the related company’s activities.
Although the Federal law isn’t perfect one significant advantage it does offer to real businesses is that there is now only one place they need to go to check the rules before a company embarks onto an email marketing program.
Violating Trust
Trust is one of the major stumbling blocks keeping the publics’ enthusiasm for the Internet in check. And when it comes to providing their email address that is in the eye of the storm. The overwhelming concern people have about providing a company their email address is that it will be shared, loaned, rented, sold or carelessly unprotected. Sharing lists internally between product lines, departments, or divisions and externally with ‘business partners’ stretches the permission basis originally given by the subscriber. When opt-in lists developed at one website are resold to list brokers, real businesses that rent these lists automatically become spammers because recipients are typically applying this litmus test to commercial email they receive: “Email marketing is for product/service information I’ve specifically requested, Spam is sent without asking for it”.
Businesses embarking down the eMarketing path often have in-house databases that include email addresses of suspects, prospects, and clients. The conversion of these lists, developed on a relationship basis, to a formal subscriber list treads a fine line and should be considered very carefully before assuming that permission has been granted.
Lack of Value
Every time you send email to your list members, you will be judged, and in some cases, it may appear to have been done unfairly. In today’s environment subscribers are now becoming annoyed at a variety of shortcomings, such as messages about products they seldom buy, messages that serve the sender more than the recipient, unsubscribe processes that don’t work, ‘hard sell’ messages or even messages in formats that can’t be properly displayed in the recipient’s mail program.
The plain simple truth is that even in a permission email environment, recipients are now applying their own tests for Spam whether they opted in or not. These are natural human reactions to the mailings they receive - it can be as straightforward as “Email marketing is email I like, Spam is email I don’t like.”
How to Fix
Real businesses need to insure that they aren’t jeopardizing their brand name by meeting or exceeding the best practices for email marketing. Auditing the list, evaluating your content and insuring proper conformance with the documentation process in the permission mailing process are the key components to a successful campaign.

It is my personal opinion that there are two words that are the driving force behind your personally achieving your ultimate outcome and your WHY in Life. These two words are the most powerful words that you can and will ever speak to yourself about any situation - “CAN” and “CAN’T” As I’ve said many times, “CAN” is a word of power; whereas, “CAN’T” is a word of retreat.
You have the power to decide if you wish to ACHIEVE or RETREAT, because when you speak victory words such as “I CAN”, you will attain whatever you set out to do regardless of what others are saying to you. There are many famous entrepreneurs in the world such as Ray Kroc, Fred Astaire, Walt Disney and Dick Clark. I can attest to the fact that if you spoke with each of them individually, they would tell you that in the beginning of their journey the majority of people told them —-you CAN’T do that! Fortunately, they disregarded these statements and listened to their inner voice, who said, “Oh yes I CAN!”
The key in life is to realize the most important person who speaks to you every day is you on the inside! You need to review your WHY in Life and see if your are on track toward achieving your WHY, or are you on a detour because someone told you, “You CAN’T do that so stop dreaming and just forget about it!” As a personal mindset builder, you need to speak to your inner person and say to yourself, “Today I will take another productive stride!”
Each morning, I visualize myself winning. My personal outcome for each day is to build a community of people who we can inspire and motivate all of us to make the world a better place in which to live. I have to admit if it was not for my inner person saying, “John you CAN do it! YOU CAN do it!” I may not be in the position of success that I am today. Some days it is still difficult, but guess what — we ARE doing it!
I am personally very proud and appreciative of the people who have stepped up to the plate and made individual contributions of talent and time and when combined have made an empowered team at the Di Lemme Development Group - a team that keeps on building each day!
In summary, you need to ask yourself a very honest question, “Am I listening to my victory words from the inside or am letting the outer defeat (loser) words control my outcome in life?”.

Life is a mystery. The cosmos is a mystery. What are its boundaries? If it is an expanding universe, where does it expand to? What is beyond it. Some of the stars are millions of light years away from us. What an unimaginable distance! What is there in the cosmos? Who made it? When did it form? What was there, before it was formed?
Who are we? Am I a body with a name? Then how do some people have good luck and some bad? Why do some children get cancer at a very young age and some people with all the bad habits live a healthy life for a long time? What are we destined to do on this earth. Where did we come from and where shall we go?
Why there is so much misery in the world? Why do we love some people and hate some? What is that, which will satisfy us? What is the objective of human life? There are so many questions in our minds. Every religion has its own theory and its own explanation. In India, it is considered that The Guru is the only one who can answer all these questions.
Who is Guru? According to Indian scriptures, Guru is God in human body. He comes on this earth to liberate followers. A Guru is not to be confused with people who write well or speak well about Indian mythology and philosophy. They might be called as learned persons or good speakers or good writers of books. But none of them is The Guru.
The west is getting attracted to Hinduism. Many branches of Hinduism including Yoga are becoming very popular in the west. Many people travel from India to the west to lecture upon Hinduism and scriptures of India, and many people call them as Gurus. That is wrong use of word Guru. Guru is very mysterious.
How to know that some one is Guru? After coming in contact with Guru, you must feel a change that is life altering. The change is not something like - I feel good, or I feel peaceful. But Guru brings about changes that can never be explained by you to others. If anytime, you come across Guru, you will know by these changes and then over a period of time The Guru will reveal his/her identity to you. That depends on his/her wish.
No one should take every saint in India as Guru. There are very few in the world. According to Indian scriptures, only if you have collected lot of good karma, do you get Guru. I can only make one statement. The experience of the power of Guru is very different than anything else. And in the beginning the experience may be very painful rather than pleasant. But the end is pure bliss.
