Yaz Side Effects Pose Serious Threat to Women

Studies executed on healthy, premenopausal women in the Netherlands determined that Yaz, Yasmin, and Ocella (generic Yaz) suffered an enhanced risk of venous thrombosis as compared to non-users. The risks were increased as high as fivefold with birth control pills. These reports were published in August 2009. This was merely the beginning of the contention surrounding Yaz, Yasmin, and Ocella and the consequent lawsuits to come regarding Yaz side effects.

Questions were asked when women in their 20s and 30s were suddenly falling victim to ischemic stroke and heart attack after being put on Ocella. Young, healthy women who were on this brand of contraception for as little as a few months were exhibiting symptoms of major side effects and serious health risks. Cardiovascular injury, organ failure, and blood clots are just some of the serious Yaz side effects allegedly experienced by the young ladies put on this oral contraceptive.

Any women that have been hurt as a result of taking Yaz, Yasmin or Ocella may be eligible to compensation. Many attorneys and legal aid agencies such as thelegaladvocate.com now provide assistance to anyone feeling side effects and health issues as a direct result of using Yaz contraception. Now that more women across the U.S. are coming forward and filing suit, the legal system is moving closer to rendering justice for those who were misinformed by the birth control manufacturers and possibly their doctors.
