The Dragon, the Elephant, and the Horse: Can They Improve Your Life?

A friend of mine told me that the concept of “luck” was silly while another said that luck is vital for success. That aside, entire religions and societies are build around the idea that specific animals can bring them and their families good fortunes. Read on to discover which of these lucky animals can be applied to your assortment of collectible figurines.

Dragons: Although many people believe they look evil, many Eastern civilizations consider dragons to be some of the luckiest animals in the world. Throughout time, humans have called upon the dragon to protect their terrestrial treasures due to their reputations of strength and valor. Those humans with righteous hearts are said to be recipients of the dragon’s magical powers. Many cultures try to “summon” these powers by dressing up as dragons during profound holidays. Since many dragons dwell in the water, it is well known in Feng Shui that placing dragon figurines in or on tabletop fountains can make the supernatural abilities of the dragon even stronger.

Elephants: The lucky attributes of the elephant has been celebrated by almost every culture throughout the world. Yet its roots are found in Hindustan, thousands of years ago. The ancient indians worshipped Ganesha, a deity with a human body and an elephant head. He was said to be the path to the light of God. Elephants that have their trunks pointed in the direction of “the heavens” are those thought to be to be the most fortunate. Place your elephant figurines in a house’s entrance hall, with the trunk facing upwards.

Horses: If good luck in your life requires the ability to be swift, fluid, and to be always moving forward, look no further than the horse. Countless historiographers accredit the horse with allowing man to reach its current peak of material wealth…quite ironic for an animal said to have one foot in the spirit world and one foot in the material world. Just remember that if you do buy, for instance, a horse statue, do NOT place it in the direction of a doorway as it allows the good fortune generated by the horse to escape out the door.

Those who would recommend this article may wish to read up more about how different types of art pieces like three-legged frog statues (yes you read that correctly) and angel figurines can bring good fortunes to people.

For millennia, civilizations have called upon various superstitions, mythologies, and folklore. Yet a triumvirate of three extraordinary beasts have stayed the course symbolic representations of fortune from culture to culture. Three timeless animals, including horses, elephants, and dragons, have inspired good luck, good fortune, and good health on countless believers. Are you prepared to open up your reality to this potential? Only you know the solution to that.
